Vast Filtration was founded by Vince Romeo, a third-generation filtration professional with more than 30 years of hands-on industry experience. Vince grew up in his grandparents' filter company — founded in the late 1960s — spending summers and school breaks pulling orders, unloading trucks, building filters, and learning the business from the ground up.

By age 16 he was processing orders in the office. By his mid-twenties he held a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Environmental Science. In 2006 he launched his own filter distribution company, and by 2013 had expanded into manufacturing dust collector cartridges — building that business until its sale in 2018. He then spent five years with the acquiring company, deepening his expertise before stepping away to launch Vast Filtration.

Vast Filtration is his return to what he knows best. Unlike large distributors who lead with a catalog, we lead with a conversation. Every engagement starts with understanding your application, your environment, and your operational constraints — then we spec the right solution.
